This is my opinion only. [/quote] As a UMD alum and former resident of Newark, DE, I agree with this. I love the UMD campus but the town around it is....not great. And even the campus is so built up now. UD is just more manageable and the town is great. Also a lot of good internship opportunities with Philly so close. I lived in Newark after graduating and wish I would have visited UD--not sure I would have gone there over UMD but would have considered it.[/quote]
