If she's 4 hours away from home, she choose to be in a non-commutable location. Let her enjoy college and don't expect her to come home. She'll come when she wants. I say this as a parent of a DD two hours away. She absolutely could come home every weekend if she wanted to, but I wouldn't want that and neither would she.
