there are all kinds of reasons kids change their minds.  usually it is organic chemistry or some other course that makes them change directions.  a kid in my high school, valedictorian, was going to be an orthodontist ... forever.  he switched out when he got to a biology class he just couldn't endure.  graduating with an accounting degree.

OP, while some of this advice isn't what you asked for, you ARE very rude.  you could just ignore the responses that don't suit you instead of lashing out.  fact is, changing paths is very common in ALL majors, not just pre-med/pre-dental.[/quote]
