Former ATS parent here (kid is now in hs).  Gildea would have been excellent.  My daughter had her as a 4th grade teacher and she was amazing.  She was the lead 4th grade teacher and really kept things organized.  I asked her in October about the end of the year trip, and she was able to tell me that it wouldn't be Jamestown that year (we were going to go there as a family but I didn't want to do it if she was going again the same year.)  Fleet got a good one![/quote]

My hope is he will be a good administrator! What do you think of the Vice Principal? She was an ATS teacher correct? Hopefully she’ll be able to bring in that in school experience. I don’t know much about ATS. Our kindergarten experience was excellent and my DD’s teacher was amazing! I’m hoping that first grade will be just as good![/quote]
