Eh, only about 50% of this thread is gossip about the new principal. The other is just gossip about ATS parents. It’s hardly a ripple in what appropriate/ inappropriate on a DCUM education thread.

Former ATS parent here (kid is now in hs). Gildea would have been excellent. My daughter had her as a 4th grade teacher and she was amazing. She was the lead 4th grade teacher and really kept things organized. I asked her in October about the end of the year trip, and she was able to tell me that it wouldn't be Jamestown that year (we were going to go there as a family but I didn't want to do it if she was going again the same year.) Fleet got a good one!
