[/quote] I am the PP you are quoting. I don't think many people of any "class" teach their kids manners these days. Somehow that is too "restrictive". I am just listing things that perhaps in days gone by what many kids were taught that would reflect a better upbringing regardless of how much money they had. I think the feet on furniture is reflective of not only lack of manners but entitlement. [/quote]
