Are you also going to claim that this is because of mental health issues and video games?[/quote] According to this, SROs play an important role, and it was recommended that FCPS have a school security presence in elementary schools in 2018. I attended a school safety meeting with the County and FCPS and the Sheriff said the number one deterrent to school shootings was qualified SROs who build relationships with students and are seen as trustworthy.
