UMC kid with professional parents who goes to JMU has a tougher road than the one to Harvard. Can we predict that the Harvard kid comes out on top -- no way. This is still America. But the options, benfit of the doubt, etc that the Harvcard kid gets gives him/her more pathways. JMU kid still has pathways, just not as many. JMU kid may be boss of Harvard kid. But all things being equall who would you rather be? All things are not equall. Cost and other factors go into it. But those schools do help white kids.[/quote]
