I’m in LA living off $37k while going to school full time to get my PhD and gas is $6.59. Congratulations that you don’t have to worry about the price of food. I know many Europeans and Canadians who can’t/won’t drink American milk. We don’t add hormones back home and the taste is really hard for me to drink. Maybe you don’t like mushrooms- is that dramatic? [/quote]

I used to shop Walmart, but now the prices are crazy high. Maybe in your area it hasn’t increased as much, but in California is actually not a great deal anymore. I’ve been going to Asian and Armenian markets for produce and that is still reasonable. [/quote]
