Yes spread happened in the community where masks are not mandated.

But with universal masking in schools, there wasn't that much spread in the schools and APS schools have been able to stay open.

This.  In January there were more cases at my kids' ES than in prior months, but the increase was nowhere near what it was in the general population.  And, there would be one case in a grade one week, maybe 1-2 the next week (different classes).  COVID was NOT spreading in the classrooms.  Why?  All of the mitigation measure taken.  Mitigation works.  Too bad people don't mitigate in more places.  [/quote]
