But I was just exhausted and didn't want to live in limbo any longer. It doesn't mean that having children wasn't a priority. I was trying as a single and it was my whole life from 35 to 42. I didn't date, I didn't travel, I put my career on hold, etc. And there will always be regrets and a sense of loss. But, life goes on and I'm very happy.
