In fact, I'm not sure who it was that decided that elastic waist flannel pants are necessarily PJ pants. Flannel is a great fabric -- warm, comfortable, wears well. And elastic waist is great, especially for teens who might have weird body sizes as they grow. I was NOT a fan of "eggings as pants" and often told me daughter to go up and put on pants (and also won't let my son wear the very revealing jog pants to school). And the low rise with the butt crack showing was even worse. I am TeamPJPant all the way. (Are we still doing that thread where we pick DCUM teams? I am TeamLeggingsAren'tPants but TeamFlannelPJsArePants. My kid sleeps in a light nightshirt, and saves the PJ Pants for school or hanging out with friends. It's also a really cute look with doc martens and a denim jacket or cardigan.[/quote]
