My kid is a sophmore living off campus (not at Temple) and has to briefly walk through an iffy area. He was home for Thanksgiving and I asked him if he's ever run into problems. He said once two older women (not college students, he thought they were at least mid 30's) approached him and asked if he had any chewing tobacco, but that's it. When he told them he didn't they left him alone (thankfully.) I didn't think to talk about what he should do if they didn't just go away peacefully...I will definitely bring that up.[/quote]
