Most white and Asian parents who post about DCPS schools other that Walls do so only to complain about how horrible they are and how all the “disruptive” kids need to be segregated away from their brilliant snowflakes. That attitude is what’s behind the low percentage of minority kids at those schools. DCPS schools exist to serve the kids who register for those schools, not the white and Asian denizens of DCUM who send their kids to private and claim they’d use DCPS if only there were G&T programs or a “rigorous” academic magnet.[/quote]
