I’m glad your daughter enjoys the SMACS program so far. To OP, each program has its pros and cons though. I think the field trips are sometimes burdensome especially when you have so many assignments and have to miss classes and make them up later. etc. If you take challenging classes (yes you can take them like SMACS), you have to work really hard. But compared with SMACS, Global offers more options I think. If you have favorite extracurricular activities, SMACS 8th period makes your life very hard.[/quote]
