My child actually didn't get too frustrated in K, just lazy and overly social. First grade is more challenging since now they are actually teaching him writing which is what he *should* have been learning last year. His writing holds him back in reading levels and there are a good number of kids at the same level now. Math is still too easy. We don't want to be one of THOSE parents so we don't push him. I will say he would definitely enjoy more challenging math if it was available to him.[/quote]
