Many of those countries have stopped all mitigation methods!  Just admit - you have "faith" in the mask, not science.

It is not because they have “beaten the virus”; among European countries, the case rates, vaccination rates, and mortality rates cover a wide range, above and below those rates here in the U.S. It is because all of these other nations recognize the harms these burdens impose on kids.

And although the risk of COVID is of course not zero, relative to so many other dangers that children face, from drowning to suicide to car accidents to other respiratory viruses, COVID is below all of them.[/quote]
