A useful reminder that this school still exists.
The only time I'm ever reminded of Georgetown is due to news stories like this - rat infestations, mold, cockroaches, flooded dorms... man. It really escapes me how this school is somehow still able to cling onto whatever reputation it has.
This. I have been to campus for professional reasons. I am really allergic to molds. I had a horrible coughing fit, ran into a bathroom that turned out to be a janitors closet that was disgusting. I ran out and ducked into a bathroom that had no working toilets. I have been to a lot of college campuses and it actually was the grossest I have ever been to.
Same. I was there for a meeting. The chairs in the lounge were either broken (literally missing legs and unusable) or so disgustingly stained that I feared sitting on them. Much worse than any college I have ever visited (and I have been to probably 50).
