You are making a statement that you have no proof of.
Norovirus is spreading through GU because the place is filthy. Here’s another fact. The infrastructure is crumbling, undergraduates are acting out at more than at their usual alarming rates and Georgetown is not well endowed financially.
I would never send my kids to GU.

Agree. Same thing with every disgruntled post re: colleges. Usually the "hate" is aimed at UVA, now this guy is coming out of the woodwork.
So obvious.
Guess what? Some colleges are difficult to get into. Period.
But apparently, not if you are a rat.

Good to know that your kids will never be at that school.
Good for our kids too. No big loss to them.
Hahaha which is why you felt the need to start this pist?
#sourgrapes
I didn’t start the “pist,” but please keep believing that anyone would have sour grapes over not going to Georgetown or having their kids go to Georgetown. So much delusion.![]()

A.) I don't think students attend GU for the "infrastructure".
B.) If you read credible sources, you would not have to resort to this troll post.
Notice how all of the contrarian views are made up of snarky, defensive comments. No one says, "well I went there and it was gorgeous and clean, with functional seating and habitable dorms."

The only time I'm ever reminded of Georgetown is due to news stories like this - rat infestations, mold, cockroaches, flooded dorms... man. It really escapes me how this school is somehow still able to cling onto whatever reputation it has.
This. I have been to campus for professional reasons. I am really allergic to molds. I had a horrible coughing fit, ran into a bathroom that turned out to be a janitors closet that was disgusting. I ran out and ducked into a bathroom that had no working toilets. I have been to a lot of college campuses and it actually was the grossest I have ever been to.
