It does to me, it's exactly what the pedi office I work at does.  The medical assistants then answer the calls and send a message to the doc, who answers the question and the medical assistant calls the patient back with the answer.

Dang ur ped office doctor calls you at 8 PM from their private cell and tells you to use that line for any questions? I must up my ped game bc I barely get call backs for actual issues lol [/quote]

Sometimes the docs will make the calls and sometimes a prerecorded message is used. In either case, the patient is not truly getting their private number.

Also on my own phone, I  sometimes get messages a few hours after they were sent.

But I'm sure OP's case is different and this is a case of budding tru love, and when she posts again in a few days she will have talked to the dentist and they will have a date scheduled.[/quote]
