This happened to me in my 20s. Not a pediatric dentist. He was the dentist I saw that day. He changed my follow ups so he would be the dentist. He waited by the elevator to ask me out after an appointment. No kids involved.

When I went to a chiropractor for the first time, he called me that evening to see how I was doing (with the pain). I thought that it was a good business model. There was no flirting...

Another time, the pediatrician called me on his private phone (cell) to ask me a question about a specialist I had taken my daughter to. I was honored that he valued my opinion.

This is a fun thread though!

Yuck! I was on once married to a dentist. I would block his number.

Sometimes the docs will make the calls and sometimes a prerecorded message is used. In either case, the patient is not truly getting their private number.

Also on my own phone, I sometimes get messages a few hours after they were sent.

But I'm sure OP's case is different and this is a case of budding tru love, and when she posts again in a few days she will have talked to the dentist and they will have a date scheduled.

Ok- this is really looking up! I’ll do some internet research tomorrow and ask about the gummy vitamins Wednesdays!

I just called to tell you that Larlo actually told me that because your hands are so soft and gentle he now thinks he loves going to the dentist! I just can't thank you enough for this! I had to share that with you, I hope you don't mind. He used to hate our other dentist, this is a huge moment in our family and it's because of you.
