can someone better at reading charts explain this to me? https://montgomerycountymd.gov/covid19/data/ The first one says we are at substantial transmission risk at 507.58/100K residents (7 day average) Down a little on the page, there is a chart that states MOCO is at 7.5/100K residents (7 day average) Not trying to poke holes in anything, but they seem to be the same statistic with widely divergent numbers adn I just want to understand what these numbers mean. Thanks and this is a sincere request as I am confused.
The numbers are 57.6 vs. 7.5. The first is TOTAL over the past seven days, the second is an AVERAGE daily number from the last seven days. If you multiply 7.5 * 7 it's 52.5, which is close enough to the 57.6 figure that there could have just been rounding or slightly different methodology somewhere. I believe this is the issue.
