This. I’m a nanny and my boss will just randomly text me at 11pm. Even if I’m awake, it annoys me hearing from my boss at that hour. Why can’t you use email??? I asked my boss to stop, she ignored me, so I not only muted her, but gave her a silent ringtone. [b]Now when she texts me during the day at work, I don’t see her messages unless I check my phone. Let me get this straight.  If you're my nanny and it is during the day when you're on my clock and you're taking care of my children, you're not taking my texts?  Mmmmm....my natural consequence to that would be that you are out of a job.  [b]Ignoring communications from your boss when you're on the job is not okay at all in any job[/b].[/quote]
