Obviously tryouts are in full swing. Can we start a post highlighting proper etiquette. I can start: Nobody needs a long email about why a team no longer suits your child and why they are deciding to move on to another club. Don’t be a disruptive, distracting douchebag and send an email out to an entire team when the season is still going on. Perhaps better etiquette is to send a short email once the season wraps saying “thank you, best of luck to all, good bye.” Anyone else have any good tryout etiquette tips to share?
I don't have a problem with this. Two of our players just disappeared. I'd rather have an email from the parent. Two years ago, DD's team had 2-3 families that left and the parents talked to everyone about it in person and their reasoning. They were actually helpful conversations because we paid attention to those weaknesses in the club.
