Thank you[/quote] My child scored in the 98th percentile on the IAAT, but we are likely to enroll them in Math 7 HN at Jackson for 7th, even if they advanced pass the SOL. Middle school is a big enough adjustment, and they will be taking two HS classes in 8th grade, which is plenty. I haven't asked around, but I don't think it's a given that all AAP kids take Alg I HN in 7th. (Math is also not technically an AAP class - kids can take advanced math without being enrolled in the AAP center program.)[/quote]
