Saw an extremely out of control pit mix basically swinging on its leash after seeing a smaller dog in Tenleytown yesterday - it was terrifying. This owner had absolutely no control. On the same walk, I saw a shepard that seemed very piqued by smaller dogs but the owner was crossing streets, using clickers and treats, it was really a joy to see so much control and action on a walk at a busy time. Collars of any type - e, prong - only work with simultaneous training.
