But I think when many people hear "Upper East Side" they think of the stodgy, stuffy, monied park avenues. I stand by the understanding that the sports bar stereotype has emerged more recently (past 20-25 years?) than the rich upper crust stereotype. The neighborhood is trending away from the latter and towards the former.[/quote]
