That search is for schools that offer doctorates.  Putting engineering alone as a search term defaults to national rankings #24 and #26.  Michigan is better by ranking and reputation but not by all that much.[/quote]

Neither are top 10 for CS.

Michigan is indisputably the “better” engineering school. There are other factors to consider when deciding on a school, but that part isn’t really up for debate.
