A lot of people I know who have these here have them because they need to tow a boat, a camper, a horse trailer, etc.  Minivans are limited to what they can tow.  Europeans don't tow all of this stuff.[/quote]

People buy SUV's on a truck frame to haul things.  This is true.  Most people that get an SUV never actually haul anything except two kids.[/quote]
