I grew up in NOVA and my early soccer jerseys said 'Boys Club' on them. That changed to 'Youth Club', SYC in the 80s. It was very big in McLean, Springfield, Fairfax, BRYC all throughout the 80s, HS girls soccer and travel. There was already State Cup and Regionals , Nationals. [/quote]
