I'm sorry but that's ridiculous.   Where was it ever stated that Monday's were off for the rest of the year?  and why on earth should a school system be listening to a smattering of high school kids that don't want to go to school.  I mean this is a version of the SCA president who runs on a platform of 'more recess'.[/quote]

I wasn’t saying it’s a reason not to go to school 5 days.  You are forgetting what it’s like to be a teen.  A lot of kids don’t want to go to school and are used to being lazy at home. Mine included! I was more venting that DC was complaining by text about possibly having to get up earlier 5 days per week and already looking for ways out. I’m sure I’m not the only parent who will hear that.  I’m looking forward to the summer. This has been the longest year ever. [/quote]
