Did your kids remain in the 99th percentile or did they drop off over time? My DS is 99th percentile weight (29lbs) and 99th percentile height (33”) at one years old. He is by far the biggest 1 year old I have ever seen. I just wonder if this will stay the course or he will slowly drop off the highest percentile. DH is 5’10” and I am 5’7” but we have tall family members.
Both my kids were in the 99% for height at birth, but dropped - and have generally been steadily in the 25-50% for the past 10-15 years. Sometimes below that. One did grow and is now squarely in the 50th% for height (still 10-25% for weight) and still growing. The other hasn't hit the growth spurt yet, but is definitely in the 5-10% for height and weight.
