Both of our last names are long so to hyphenate it would be crazy, and we didn't want to come up with some new name.[/quote] My husband said he felt very strongly about our kid having his last name, even though he knew that it was totally irrational. So I got to pick her first and middle names all by myself. Seemed like a fair trade to me, honestly. [/quote]
