I second your LOL.  I grew up solidly middle class, possibly the opposite of old money, and we always had summer sausage at the holidays and I LOVE it.

For cracker types, I like Triscuits, stoned wheat thins, and those Kashi multigrain ones.

I am confused by the old money comment too, sarcastic or not, but it is hard to beat summer sausage and pub cheese or sharp cheddar. One of the many "inheritances" I treasure from my dad's (very humble!) Wisconsin roots![/quote]
