Yikes you’re awful. You’re admitting to taking advantage of this poor woman. Two weeks off before the visit is sufficient. Unless you’re paying her 24/7 stop making unreasonable demands of her just because you know she’ll say yes. This is a truly terrible way to treat your employee. [/quote]

Woah, no way lady. My point in saying that is she’s very easy going and we are incredibly generous with her. So if I offered $500 a week extra she’d say yes or if I offered $400 a week she’d say yes. The whole point of this thread is that I don’t want to take advantage of her and so was soliciting opinions about what is generous/reasonable. One takeaway we’ve gotten so far is that 5 weeks is unnecessarily long. If we do this at all (which we might not) we’d discuss it with her and probably do it for the two weeks prior to her two weeks off. That gives us a month of zero exposure and she’d only have to forgo shopping in person for 2 weeks with plenty of notice and generous extra pay. [/quote]
