Also, Elon is really working the US News list. The day the rankings came out last year, it was already updated on their website - front page. My spouse is actually an alumni, so I am not dissing the school. We get their alumni magazine and of course it was prominently displayed there, too.

My child did not attend because it is very expensive and no merit was offered. The school is pretty but the nearby "big" town of Burlington is really meh. It's kind of "country" and people who live there were born there and never leave. My spouse works nearby so I know it quite well. Having said that, he did very well for himself with just a bachelors from Elon, and loved his time there. I think the school has only improved since he went there. Still not worth the money, though.[/quote]
