It’s not a Sorkin show. And on actual Sorkin shows, the characters are usually extremely well-educated professionals in very fast-paced, demanding jobs. So it makes more sense, at least, even if it’s still not very true to life.

See, that's the part that rang true for me. I mean, my references might be different...but my college roommate/BFF and I had conversations like that all the time. Of course, everyone else thought we were nuts...so maybe there's a pattern here.[/quote]
