I hate to say ut but make them! A single egg scambled with a bit of cheese, your favorite salsa or jalapenos, and like three little tater tots from the freezer. If you want meat a slice of microwave bacon. Seriously, it takes five minutes and really good. This is my breakfast most days.
I can and have made them before but I just want to not cook a meal this time. I’m out of green Chile
You juat said something that makes me think you are looking for something that doesn't exist in the DMV. Anyone who says they are out of green chile is from New Mexico. As a Mexican-American whose family is from NM, you are SOL. I am so so sorry! I haven't even found decent chilaquiles here. If you find some place, please post! I will go!
You're close, I am from Colorado so it's a slightly different style, but I'd take either  When I first moved here it was hard to even find tacos, now that those options have expanded I was hoping that there was some secret breakfast burrito hiding somewhere. I have heard this place is pretty good and they have chilaquiles on the menu. I might try it soon.
PP with NM family here. Anita's isn't very good. I want it to be good but it never delivers. I was racking my brain and realized that there used to be a bodega every Saturday at the Reston farmers market. They have awesome breakfast burrittos--they are the right proportion and not overstuffed monstrosities and the ingredients are on point. The chorizo is good too! I haven't been since the start of Covid so I don't know if it survived but the peiple who made them own the store in the Lake Anne parking lot and you can pick up food there! I might go back to the market and check if they are there this weekend. I think the market runs one more week.
