Yes, this. I can’t believe how idiotic and selfish people are. Her kids have missed out on enough? Like her kids are uniquely afflicted? No, your kids don’t see Santa because it’s not safe because of coronavirus. My freaking 4 year old knows this. She’s be happy to lecture anyone about it. Getting the pandemic under control requires sacrifice. Teach your children about sacrifice, and how to care for others. Tell them, we sacrifice for a year so we can have the rest of our lives to live, and others can too. We sacrifice because it’s the right thing to do. And stop being a selfish jerk. [/quote]

And while you are preaching that children should continue to be the ones to sacrifice in all this, I know you aren’t going out to eat, drink, work out, or socialize outside of your immediate family, correct?

My kids have lost an incredible amount due to covid.  A grandparent, the security of having a parent with them during terrifying medical procedures, the chance to say goodbye to a loved one who died after a long hospitalization, and financial stability for their family to name a few.

If your list of what your kids have lost has seeing Santa in person anywhere near the top then they aren't "the ones to sacrifice in all this'. [/quote]
