Yes, this. I can’t believe how idiotic and selfish people are. Her kids have missed out on enough? Like her kids are uniquely afflicted? No, your kids don’t see Santa because it’s not safe because of coronavirus. My freaking 4 year old knows this. She’s be happy to lecture anyone about it. Getting the pandemic under control requires sacrifice. Teach your children about sacrifice, and how to care for others. Tell them, we sacrifice for a year so we can have the rest of our lives to live, and others can too. We sacrifice because it’s the right thing to do. And stop being a selfish jerk. [/quote]

God, the "children should be the ones to sacrifice in all this" people are so absurd.  I'm very sorry that there's a pandemic and that it's inconvenient.  I get it.  Guess what?  So does everybody else and everybody else's chlidren.

So yes, it's asinine to insist on Santa photos during a pandemic, and no, we're not going to the gym, eating in restaurants or gathering with other households.  I knew it's impossible for the selfish people to grasp, as they believe since THEY are taking stupid risks, that everybody is like them, but we're not.  There are plenty of us out here being responsible adults and responsibly parenting children, even when it's hard and it sucks, because once again, it's a pandemic.[/quote]
