Seems like a typical rehearsal. [/quote] This performance was poignant bc it was performed in remembrance of Mercury at a time when George Michael had not yet come out yet. He was singing this song to his lover that was dying in the same way Mercury passed. Quoting George Michael, “I just wanted to die inside. I was so overwhelmed by singing the songs of this man I had worshipped as a child, who had passed away in the same manner my first living partner was going to experience.”[/quote]
