We tried out here and may ultimately accept a spot due to the niceness of the facility.  However, as a warning, the tryouts are not what you would expect if you are used to Alexandria.  They have kids from those age ranges all trying out together, separated by gender.   It worked out fine and my child was offered a spot, but it was sort of jarring for her during the tryout.  It is tough for a 2011 girl to defend against a 2007 girl.[/quote]

Yeah, I assume that they of course take all that into consideration when watching the players.  I also have a younger child who was playing against older kids in some of the brief scrimmage matches.  But he has older siblings so he's used to it :-) [/quote]
