Based on my daughter getting an offer, yes, I assume they do take it into consideration!

DATES + TIMES - November 7th
6:00-7:15PM - Boys & Girls - 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011
7:30-8:45PM - Boys & Girls - 2000, 2001, 2002. 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006
We tried out here and may ultimately accept a spot due to the niceness of the facility. However, as a warning, the tryouts are not what you would expect if you are used to Alexandria. They have kids from those age ranges all trying out together, separated by gender. It worked out fine and my child was offered a spot, but it was sort of jarring for her during the tryout. It is tough for a 2011 girl to defend against a 2007 girl.

I must be reading this wrong along with the original guy. The poster is implying futsal allows a kid to work on fitness as they are not in shape enough to play high level soccer

so high level players play futsal for fitness so they can try to keep up with high level soccer players.
Now that is insight that I have never heard. thanks for sharing that
what an idiot

Why not play Cricket or rugby or ...
let me help you with the answer
because my kid loves the sport. loves it more than soccer and wishes it was more established but its not so we look forward to this time of year so its available and other like minded skilled players can compete in a sport you dont appreciate or understand
Seriously what kind of stupid question is that
Lol it’s basically soccer. This will be a good chance for your kid to work on fitness since futsal seems to be where the kids who aren’t in shape enough to play high-level soccer really shine!

Something like $550 for 2x a week practice and some games and scrimmages (about 1x a week) and the alexandria hosted tournament with the possible of more tournaments (and more $$) if that remains a possibility, but a lot of figuring things out on the fly because of covid
Where did you get that info? I got the email from Katie Brooks but nothing re price and tournaments.
There was a link buried in the email for Futsal ID FAQs, but i can’t seem to share it
in a nutshell, it said $550 and this:
Here is a general outline of the projected Futsal ID Program schedule:
November-December First half of season

January- February
2x training sessions per week (approx. 20 sessions)
8-10 league games in the ASA Outdoor Futsal League
1-2 outdoors match days
Futsal Cup tournament hosted by ASA (outdoors)
Potentially 1-3 tournaments (approx. 4-15 games)
