No stores in Friendship Heights have been abandoned - there are several empty storefronts almost all of which predated Covid/George Floyd and there are a couple of businesses which left the plywood up for whatever reason but for the most part the neighborhood retail is struggling just like it was 8 months ago.[/quote]
