Have you thought about getting an executive functioning coach and/or career counseling? I have a ds who has no idea what he wants to do. He doesn’t like to work or study(although he has a job), has ADHD and is on the spectrum. However, he is about 15 years younger than you and doesn’t have a trust fund. He just started with a coach and so far it’s going well. Best of luck to you. I see my ds struggle with deciding whether to go to school (he deferred for now). He needs to find a passion before he will put any effort into classes.
I think that makes sense, I would look for career counseling with someone who is also familiar with neurological differences. You say you test "highly" and did fine in school except for being a slacker, but look hard at the things that seem to come most easily to you that you also enjoy. You might consider contacting an ADHD organization, they may be able to provide referrals to people who can help you find a starting point.
