I told her “yes, anytime sperm meets an egg it can lead to pregnancy.” To the op - we had a window where we weren’t actively trying yet but we were also fine with the idea of ending up pregnant sooner than planned. We used withdrawal during those months. Later when I couldn’t get pregnant with our second my doctor counted those months toward months we’d had sex without protection.
