Did they not read all of the mail sent in advance from the school? The rules that kids had to promise to abide by?

This sounds like the poster who said he "had no idea" if his kid was planning to protect himself from COVID because it was "time to cut the apron strings" since "he is an adult now."

1) Freshmen are still teenagers (not the most responsible stage of human development)

2) If you love a family member and you are dropping them off in a high risk environment (think cruise ship) during the pandemic of a lifetime...would you not want to discuss how to stay safe/healthy ahead of time?

Can't even imagine the types of relationships such parents have with their kids. [/quote]
