It's true that some kids may be gifted but that it might not reflect on the tests - in that case the input from the teacher matters. But if on the other hand a teacher is not able to parse a child's "this is so obvious I don't know what there is to explain" for what it is, it means that the child is precisely the type which AAP is meant for. The kind of holistic acceptance methods that we're seeing opens the door for the sort of subjectivity which includes discrimination and racism.[/quote]
