Big 3 over Eastern and Takoma (and ultimately Takoma). Would have loved DC to stay in MCPS but the logistics of either were far too challenging for us. Both seem to be amazing programs. Friends with kids there really like them. If either had been within a reasonable commute, may have been different. But the pandemic sealed the decision.[/quote]

"Sacrificed a lot" means that you had extra you could trim to get to $45K per year, for at least the next three years. Which, good for you. But coming on a public school board and bragging about it is really poor form. It's tacky, and it's gratuitous, and totally unnecessary.

I hope your child has a wonderful experience at "Big 3" but maybe stick to the private school board from here on out.
