If you are calling other people selfish but have spent the last three months not going to grocery stores and instead shifting that risk onto a low paid Instacart workers, you need to take a look at yourself. Newsflash - everyone is selfish in ways. Deal with it.
Selfish behavior isn't okay just because "everyone" engages in it, and not everyone does. If anyone "calling other people selfish" is also acting in selfish ways themselves, that means that they also need to correct their behavior, not accept that everyone will behave badly. Also, paying others to do your grocery shopping may be a good choice for people who are immunocompromised.
Plenty of people ordering grocery delivery are not immunocompromised. They are shifting the risk to low wage workers and patting themselves on the back for how responsible they are being. Not all people ordering groceries are in this boat, of course, and I agree that for some, this is the safest choice. But for many, that's not the case. I have plenty of friends who are doing just this, but then are appalled when others have a socially distant visit with a small number of friends or family. People are very judgmental of anyone behaving in ways that are different than how they are behaving - and I think this goes across the spectrum, for those being the most careful to the least. We're all selfish in ways, we're all judgmental in ways, and we aren't doing ourselves any favors.
I do tend to agree with you on the grocery store delivery and putting the risk on others, and we do our own grocery shopping. That said someone else said if I am purchasing food, I’m still part of the problem and I do sadly agree with that. I don’t think conditions are good in these meat plants or for migrant workers living in close quarters.
